This thought is hitting my brain like a megatrain.
One of the biggest problems I have with my work is that I really have no clue what my style is. Do I have one in particular? This thing has bothered me for so long now that I can't even describe it.
My starting point in the industry was with some comedic pieces, and for some reason, I do love making funny stuff, even though I can't say that I'm a funny man. Comedy is a great universe where you can experiment with what you have a lot, as the main goal is to make someone out there laugh!
Nevertheless, I absolutely adore and can even say that I crave working on dramatic, melancholic pieces as well, pieces that tear people apart, destroy love relationships, and showcase vicious, violent acts. I love being a part of such stories as well, as they represent what my inner universe is all about.
I can say that this mish-mash representation of my work is my style. At the end of the day, this is my work, and this is what I do and like. So, I can say that I have embraced that my style is one that lingers between comedy, drama, melancholy, and violence, with this odd-looking smile ;].
On a separate note, I got my BA in Film and TV editing at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 2009(Sofia, Bulgaria). In 2012 finished the London Film Academy as a Writer & Director (London, UK). My director’s debut is the short film GETTING FAT IN A HEALTHY WAY (2015). Some of the good work has been featured on Nowness, shots, LBB, Directors Notes, AotW, Short of the Week, VOTD, YDA, Campaign Brief Asia, Boyscout and Lürzer’s Archiveam.
That’s it folks.
